HISTORY
The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum is located in a 1908 schoolhouse with artifacts, photos and hands-on exhibits related to the rich island history.
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND MUSEUM OF ART
Since opening its doors 2013, BIMA has become the cultural living room for the local community. The galleries, auditorium, bistro, store and plaza buzz with a variety of artistic events.
COMMUTING
Bainbridge Island is a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle, making it a true bedroom community to the city. Onboard, commuters enjoy a café, WIFI, and the incredible view.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
For more than 90 years, the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce has been the energetic heart of a strong, sustainable local economy. As an unusual combination of business member-driven non-profit, community hub, visitor center, and state licensing facility, BICC sits at the nexus of many aspects of Island life.
PARKS AND RECREATION
Since its inception in 1965, the Bainbridge Island Park District has been dedicated to providing a wide array of recreation with a mass of parks, trails, and a world class aquatic center.
KIDIMU
KiDiMu is a nonprofit children's museum and a Bainbridge Island destination for children and parents, caregivers or teachers to discover the joys of learning together!
JAPANESE AMERICAN EXCLUSION MEMORIAL
Built of old-growth red cedar, granite and basalt, the wall honors the names of all 276 Japanese and Japanese Americans who were exiled from Bainbridge Island during WW2.
