HISTORY

 

The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum is located in a 1908 schoolhouse with artifacts, photos and hands-on exhibits related to the rich island history.

Since opening its LEED Gold certified building in 2013, BIMA has become the cultural living room for the local community. The Museum’s galleries, auditorium, bistro, store and plaza buzz with a variety of artistic events.
